Gift Card Terms & Conditions

1. Issuance

Gorvèle Gift Cards are issued by Gorvèle, Inc., 3903 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11235, United States. Gift cards are available for purchase exclusively through www.gorvele.com.

Upon completion of purchase, the gift card code will be delivered to the recipient’s email address as provided at checkout. Gorvèle is not responsible for non-delivery caused by an incorrect email address provided by the purchaser.

2. Validity & expiration

Pursuant to New York General Business Law §396-i, Gorvèle Gift Cards purchased on or after June 1, 2026 are valid for a minimum period of nine (9) years from the date of purchase.

No expiration date shorter than nine years will be applied to any gift card sold to New York residents or purchased through this website. The expiration date, where displayed, will reflect this minimum statutory period.

3. Fees

In accordance with New York General Business Law §396-i, no fees of any kind are assessed on Gorvèle Gift Cards. This includes, without limitation:

• Activation fees
• Service fees
• Dormancy or inactivity fees
• Administrative fees
• Handling fees
• Renewal fees
• Any periodic or recurring fee

The face value of the gift card will remain intact regardless of inactivity or the passage of time, subject to the validity period above.

4. Cash redemption for balances under $5.00

As required under New York General Business Law §396-i, if the remaining balance on a Gorvèle Gift Card is less than five dollars ($5.00), the cardholder may request that the remaining balance be redeemed for cash.

To exercise this right, the cardholder must contact Gorvèle Client Services at contact@gorvele.com with the subject line “Gift Card Cash Redemption Request” and include the gift card code and a valid mailing address or PayPal address for disbursement. Requests will be processed within ten (10) business days.

5. Redemption

Gorvèle Gift Cards may be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products on www.gorvele.com. To redeem, enter the gift card code in the designated field at checkout. The gift card value will be applied to the order total.

• Gift cards may be used for partial payment — any remaining balance on an order may be paid with another accepted payment method.
• Multiple gift cards may be applied to a single order where the checkout system permits.
• Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.
• Gift cards are redeemable only on www.gorvele.com and are not valid at any third-party retailer or reseller.

6. Non-refundable

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except as required by New York law (see Section 4 above). Once a gift card has been delivered to the recipient’s email, the purchase is final.

If an order paid in whole or in part with a gift card is returned, the eligible refund amount will be credited back to the original gift card or issued as store credit. Gorvèle does not issue cash refunds for orders purchased with gift cards.

7. Transferability

Gorvèle Gift Cards are transferable. The card code may be shared with another person who may redeem it in accordance with these Terms. Gorvèle is not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen, or used without authorization once the card code has been delivered.

Treat your gift card code as you would cash. Gorvèle cannot replace lost or stolen gift card codes unless a balance is confirmed and the original purchaser can be verified.

8. Fraud & unauthorized use

Gorvèle reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or void gift cards obtained or used in connection with fraudulent activity, including but not limited to unauthorized purchase, resale, counterfeiting, or any attempt to circumvent these Terms.

In cases of suspected fraud, Gorvèle may suspend a gift card pending investigation. Affected cardholders should contact contact@gorvele.com promptly.

9. Technical issues

If you experience technical difficulties redeeming a gift card on our website, please contact our Client Services team at contact@gorvele.com before the validity period expires. Gorvèle will make reasonable efforts to resolve technical issues and ensure cardholders are able to redeem the full value of their gift card.

10. Governing law

These Gift Card Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights afforded to consumers under applicable New York State or federal law, including but not limited to New York General Business Law §396-i.

11. Changes to these terms

Gorvèle reserves the right to modify these Gift Card Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will not affect gift cards already purchased — the terms in effect at the time of purchase govern that gift card for its full validity period. Updated terms will be posted at www.gorvele.com/gift-card-terms with a revised Effective Date.
